Frequently Asked Questions
Does this griddle run on gas or does it plug in?
It plugs in. The GEE40 is an electric griddle rated 1800W on 120V, so there is no gas line to run and no propane tank to refill.
That makes it workable in spots where gas was never an option, including indoor rooms and covered patios.
How much cooking surface do you get?
It uses a 16" Dual Plate System, which Le Griddle rates as enough to cook for up to 12 people.
Plan on cooking in batches at that number rather than all at once.
What is the griddle built from?
Stainless steel 304 throughout, including the lid.
Does it come with a lid?
Yes. A 304 stainless steel lid is part of this listing.
Can it be built into an island, or does it have to sit on a countertop?
Either. The Electric Griddle is designed to work as a built-in unit or as a countertop griddle.
Decide before you order, because the built-in route adds a required part.
Do I need anything extra to build it in?
Yes. If you are installing it as a built-in, the Wee Griddle insulating liner has to be on the same order.
Add it up front so the cabinet work and the liner arrive together.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. Le Griddle rates the GEE40 for indoor and outdoor use, which follows from it being electric rather than gas-fired.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
