Is this the right rotisserie for my Oval X-Large?

Yes, if your grill is the Oval X-Large. Primo's rotisserie kits are size specific and each mounts to the grill named in its title, so this one will not transfer to a Large or an XX-Large. Read the size word rather than assuming the Ovals share parts.

What size loads suit the X-Large?

Whatever turns freely with clearance all around it, which is the real limit rather than weight on paper. Whole birds, rolled and tied roasts and larger joints all belong here. If anything on the spit touches ceramic as it comes round, it is too big for the setup, however well it fits on the grate.

Can I run the rotisserie baskets on this kit?

Yes. Because they attach to the rotisserie rather than to a firebox, the baskets and the kebab holder carry no grill size and work with any of the kits. They handle wings, vegetables, prawns and other things that would fall through a grate or off a spit.

Does the roast need turning or basting during the cook?
