How tall an opening does the triple drawer need?
27 3/8" of cutout height, with a cutout width of 15 1/4" to 15 3/8" and a depth of 20 3/8" to 20 1/2".
That height is the main planning constraint. Confirm your island has the vertical room below the countertop before you commit to a three-drawer bay.
What are the finished dimensions of the unit?
Roughly 17" wide (16.94"–17"), 30" high (29.94"–30") and 20.5" deep.
Why three drawers instead of one big one?
