Frequently Asked Questions
What does "horizontal" mean on the DR2-32H?
The two drawers sit side by side across a 32" bay rather than stacked one above the other. You get wide, shallow access instead of a deep vertical stack.
That layout suits long items and wide island runs where there is not much height to give up under the countertop.
How much height does the cutout take?
Only 6 1/4". The full opening is 30 1/4" to 30 1/2" wide, 6 1/4" high and 20 1/4" deep.
A cutout that short is what lets this unit go into a band of island that could not take a conventional drawer stack.
What are the finished dimensions?
32" wide, 8.875" high and 20.4" deep overall.
What fits in a drawer this shallow?
Summerset sizes it for BBQ tools, cookware, utensils, towels and accessories. At just over 6" of opening height, it takes flat and long items well.
Bulky cookware is a better match for a deeper drawer; this one is for the things you want spread out and visible at a glance.
What grade of steel is it?
Commercial-grade #304 stainless steel, finished to resist corrosion and stay easy to wipe down in an outdoor island.
How do the drawers move?
Both run on heavy-duty full-extension ball-bearing slides with soft-close. Full extension is worth having on a wide drawer, since it brings the far corners out where you can reach them.
Will the faces line up with my other Summerset components?
Yes. It is a flush mount unit with Summerset's solid stainless steel bar handles, so it sits in plane with the rest of a mixed run.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
