Full extension brings both bins clear of the island face, so you can drop something into the back bin without leaning in.
What is the drawer made of?
Commercial-grade #304 stainless steel, which is what keeps a waste unit from streaking and corroding after repeated washdowns and weather exposure.
Are the bins visible when the drawer is shut?
No. The pull-out is fully enclosed and flush mounted, so the closed drawer reads as another stainless face in the island run.
