Frequently Asked Questions
What are the cutout dimensions for the DR1-36?
34 5/8" wide, 18 1/8" high and 22 1/2" deep. This is a large opening, so verify the island framing can carry it before cutting.
How big is the drawer itself?
It is a single 36" x 20" storage drawer. Overall the unit runs 36" to 36.75" wide, roughly 20" high and about 25.5" deep.
That is one continuous box rather than a divided stack, which is what makes it useful for oversized cookware.
Is the interior just one open cavity?
No. It has built-in interior dividers to organize the contents, so large items and small ones are not sliding into each other.
The dividers are what keep a drawer this wide from turning into a single pile.
Do the slides handle a fully loaded drawer?
It rides on heavy-duty full-extension ball-bearing slides for smooth-gliding operation. Full extension brings the whole 20" depth clear of the island face.
That matters here more than on a small drawer, since the back of a 36" box is otherwise hard to reach.
What is it made of?
Commercial-grade #304 stainless steel, with a #304 stainless steel handle on the drawer face.
The finish resists rust, corrosion and weather exposure and cleans up with normal wiping.
Does it mount flush?
Yes, it is a flush mount unit, so the face sits in plane with the island rather than standing off it.
The drawer body is fully enclosed, which shields the contents from dirt and outdoor debris when it is shut.
How does it compare to the smaller Summerset drawers?
This is the large-capacity option in the line, aimed at cookware and bulk accessories rather than hand tools.

Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
