Alfresco Vinyl Cover for 42" Built-In Grill AGV-42
A 42-inch Alfresco is a serious piece of equipment, three burners plus a rear infrared rotisserie burner and an integrated smoker, and the AGV-42 is the cover cut specifically for it. A tailored fit is what keeps weather out; a generic cover draped over a grill this size will flap, chafe, and let rain track underneath.
The material is water-resistant high-density canvas vinyl that sheds rain, pollen, dust, and dirt, finished with an embroidered Alfresco logo. Ventilation releases trapped condensation instead of holding it against the stainless, and secure fastenings hold the cover through wind.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the AGV-42 made from?
High-density canvas vinyl, water-resistant, and finished with an embroidered Alfresco logo. It sheds rain, pollen, dust, and dirt off the hood and control panel of the 42-inch grill head.
Why does fit matter so much on a grill this size?
A 42-inch Alfresco carries three burners plus a rear infrared rotisserie burner and an integrated smoker, and a generic cover draped over that much equipment will flap, chafe the finish, and let rain track underneath. The AGV-42 is cut to the grill's own outline. Confirm which model you have among Alfresco's built-in grills.
Does moisture become a problem under a cover this large?
Not while it vents, and this one does. The ventilation releases trapped condensation instead of holding it against the stainless underneath.
Can I use a 36-inch cover on a 42-inch grill?
No. The 36-inch built-in grill takes the AGV-36, and a cover six inches short leaves one end of the grill open to weather. Go by the width in the model code.
Does the AGV-42 fit a cart grill?
No. It is cut for the built-in grill head. A 42-inch grill on a cart takes the AGV-42C, or the AGV-42CSB if the cart includes a side burner.
Does it fit both the ALXE-42 and the AIPG-42?
Alfresco lists the AGV-42 as the built-in cover for its 42-inch grills, including the ALXE and Intelligent Professional models. Go by the model number on your grill.
How does the premium cover differ?
The AGV-42-PREM is woven textured PVC leather with a felt interior, anti-freeze treated to minus 25 degrees Celsius, where this listing is water-resistant high-density canvas. Premium is the option in cold climates or where the grill is a visual focal point.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
