American Made Grills Muscle Power Burner MUSPB2 - 60,000 BTUs, 380 Sq In, Stainless Steel

How powerful is the Muscle Power Burner?

It produces 60,000 BTUs across its stainless steel burners.

That output is aimed at cookware a grill cannot handle well — deep pots and pans that need heat spread under a wide base.

How large is the cooking surface?

380 square inches.

It is sized so a stock pot or a large pan sits stable, which is the main limitation of a smaller side burner.

What is this burner meant for?

Everything from sauces to seafood boils. It is a dedicated high-output station for boiling, sauteing and simmering next to your grill.

Adding one is how you keep the pot work outdoors instead of running back to the kitchen range mid-cook.

Is the MUSPB2 available in natural gas?

Yes. The MUSPB2 is available in propane or natural gas, and you select the configuration when ordering.

Check which fuel is already run to the island before you choose.

Is there lighting for cooking at night?

It has front panel LED lighting, so the control area stays visible after dark.

Does it come with a lid?

A protective lid is included with the burner.

With the lid closed the burner is covered when it is not in use, which matters for a unit installed in the middle of an island.

Where is it made?

Built, factory tested and serviced in the USA, at American Made Grills’ factory at 79 Carlough Road, Bohemia, New York. Construction is stainless steel.

Is this the burner that goes with the Muscle grills?

Yes, the MUSPB2 is the Muscle Series power burner in the American Made Grills line.

If your island is being built around a Muscle hybrid built-in grill, this is the power burner carrying the same series name.

Where do I find the exact dimensions for my island cutout?

Use the MUSPB2 spec sheet and user manual linked on this product page. They carry the measured dimensions for the unit.

Confirm those numbers against your island drawings before anything is cut, since an opening framed to the wrong size cannot be adjusted afterward.

Can it be installed in a wood-framed island?

Not directly. A power burner going into an island framed with combustible material needs an insulating liner between the unit and the framing.

The insulating liner for Estate, Muscle and Encore power burners is the matching part.
