The full-height pull-out glides forward to bring either a bin or an LP tank out to the front of the island, so you are not reaching blind into a cabinet with a hose attached. For propane installations this is the difference between a tank swap taking two minutes and taking twenty.
Every unit in the Deluxe line is sealed with protective rubber gaskets, which is the detail that separates outdoor-rated storage from repurposed indoor cabinetry. Can this hold a propane tank?
Yes. The DR1-18LP is configurable for either an LP tank or a trash bin, and the full-height pull-out brings whichever you load to the front of the island.
For a propane build that is the whole point: you swap the tank standing at the front of the cabinet instead of reaching blind into an enclosure with a hose attached.
How much island width does it take?
18 inches. It is a single-drawer module, so it slots into a narrow bay beside a wider grill or storage unit.
Can I use it as a trash drawer instead?
Yes — trash and fuel are the two configurations it is built for. It solves whichever of the two problems your island has.
Is the cabinet sealed?
