Frequently Asked Questions
What size opening is this door sized for?
This is Coyote's 14" x 20" single access door, model C3-SA1420 — the two numbers in the model code are the door's size designation. Measure your framed opening and match it to that designation before ordering, because a door one size off will not sit flush in the island.
How is this different from the 20" x 14" door?
The two numbers are reversed, so the two doors cover openings of the opposite orientation. If your opening is wider than it is tall, look at the 20" x 14" version instead of this one.
What can I keep behind it?
It is sized for the smaller things — tools, spices, gloves and cleaning supplies. This is the compact door in the range, meant to fill a narrow gap in the island rather than swallow propane tanks.
Does the door latch closed?
Yes. It has a sturdy handle and a latch, so it stays shut between uses rather than blowing open.
How does it mount?
It is a drop-in component that integrates into a standard outdoor kitchen framework, so you need a finished opening in masonry or a steel island frame to install it.
Will it rust?
It is made from commercial-grade 304 stainless steel, chosen for rust and corrosion resistance in an exposed outdoor island.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
