Frequently Asked Questions
What fits inside a door this size?
Smaller gear — tools, spices, gloves and cleaning supplies. This is one of the compact doors in the Coyote range, intended to make use of a narrow section of island rather than serve as the main storage cabinet.
What opening does the C3-SA2014 cover?
It carries a 20" x 14" size designation, and those numbers are what you compare against your framed opening. Check the opening before you order, since a mismatch means either a gap around the frame or a door that will not drop in.
Is this the same as the 14" x 20" door?
No, the orientation is reversed. If your opening is taller than it is wide, the 14" x 20" door is the one to look at.
How does it hold up to weather?
The door is built from commercial-grade 304 stainless steel for rust and corrosion resistance, so it can sit exposed in the island without a cover.
Does it lock or just swing?
There is a sturdy handle plus a reliable latch, which keeps the contents secure and the door from drifting open.
Can it be installed in a finished island?
It installs as a drop-in unit into a standard outdoor kitchen framework, so the opening has to be framed to size first. Other access doors follow the same installation method.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
