Frequently Asked Questions
What are the cutout dimensions?
42 3/8" wide by 19 3/8" high for the TF-DD-45-A. The finished door is 45" wide and 22" high, and it mounts flush over that opening.
What kind of island opening is this size for?
Finished openings 40 inches and wider. At 45" across it covers a long cavity with a single pair of doors instead of two smaller units set side by side.
How deep is it?
1.82" front to back. The cavity behind stays essentially full depth for gas connections, power, and storage.
Do doors this size close on their own?
Yes, both leaves are soft-close, and magnetic latches keep them shut. That is the practical answer to a 45" opening: the wider the door, the more you notice hardware that controls the last few inches of swing.
Is this a masonry-frame door?
No, this is the flush version, made to sit in a finished opening with the frame overlapping the island face. For a stone or brick island, TrueFlame builds the 45" masonry frame version with a 1" return instead.
What is it made of?
304 stainless steel with double-walled doors.
Are there exposed hinges?
No. The hingeless design hides the hardware behind the face, so nothing breaks up the front of the panels.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
