RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. What does this spacer actually do?
It adds 4 inches of depth behind your RCS 36" vent hood. That extra depth lets the hood clear a backsplash, tile or masonry wall instead of fouling against it.
If your wall finish projects out past the framing, the spacer is what gets the hood sitting flat and looking finished.
Which hood does the RVH36ASP4 fit?
The RCS 36" vent hood only. It is matched to that hood's dimensions, so it will not carry over to the 48" model.
Confirm the model designation on your hood before ordering, since the spacer is sized for the 36" RVH36A hood specifically.
Where does it mount?
Between the wall and the vent hood. The spacer goes up first, then the hood mounts to it, so the hood's own mounting stays intact.
Should I choose the 4" or the 8" spacer?
Take the 4" if you need modest clearance for tile or a thin backsplash. The 8" spacer for the same RVH36A hood doubles that depth for thicker stone or masonry.
What is the spacer made of?
304 stainless steel, the same corrosion-resistant grade used on the hood it mounts to, so the finish and weathering match.
Does pushing the hood out affect how it vents?
