RCS 8" Vent Hood Spacer for RVH48B
Frequently Asked Questions
What size hood does this spacer belong to?
The RCS 48" vent hood, model RVH48B. It is purpose-built for that hood, so the 36" spacers are not a substitute.
Does it fit the older RVH48?
It does not. Older RVH48 vent hoods are excluded, so confirm you have the RVH48B before ordering the RVH48BSP8.
How far out does it push the hood?
8 inches. That is the deeper of the two RVH48B spacers and is aimed at walls finished in thicker stone or masonry.
The hood ends up sitting proud of the wall face rather than being fought back against it.
When is 4 inches enough instead?
When the backsplash or tile only projects a small amount. The 4" RVH48B spacer covers that case at less depth.
How is it mounted?
It installs between the wall and the vent hood, so the spacer carries the wall attachment and the hood attaches to the spacer.
What is the construction?
304 stainless steel, chosen to resist corrosion in the same outdoor conditions the hood lives in.
Will airflow suffer at that depth?
No. The spacer keeps airflow and appearance intact while adding the clearance, so the hood performs as it would mounted directly to the wall.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
