RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. What are the outside dimensions of the RVH48B hood?
The hood measures 48" wide, 30" deep and 18" high.
Depth is the number most people forget to check. At 30" deep, the hood needs a mounting surface that carries it far enough forward to sit over the cooking surface below it.
How much air does it actually move?
Two blowers deliver a combined 2,000 CFM.
That output is aimed at pulling grill smoke, grease and heat off the cook surface rather than letting it roll back under a covered structure.
Can I run the blowers at a lower speed?
Yes. Fan speed is adjustable, so you can dial the airflow to the cook instead of running both blowers wide open every time.
Is there lighting under the hood?
Three interior lights are built in, aimed down at the cook surface.
What size duct does the RVH48B use, and is the pipe included?
A 10" duct collar comes with the hood. The duct pipe itself is not included, so the run from the collar to the outside is sourced separately.
How many filters come with it?
Twelve vent filters are included with the hood, so it arrives ready to run rather than needing a separate filter order.
What electrical supply does this hood need?
115V on a 15 amp circuit.

How do I close the gap between the hood and the ceiling?
