Frequently Asked Questions
Which vent hoods is TF-DCF-SP4 made for?
Duct cover installations on the TF-VH36-2 and the TF-VH4274-DC. It is sized for those setups specifically, so confirm your hood's model designation before you order.
What is a duct cover filler for?
Bridging the space where the duct cover meets your wall. Without it you are left looking at an open gap above the hood; the filler closes that joint so the run from hood to wall reads as one finished piece.
How far does the 4-inch filler project?
Four inches. That is the measurement it adds between the duct cover and the wall, and it is the middle size of the three fillers offered for these hoods.
If your gap is much narrower, the half-inch filler handles the same joint at a slimmer projection.
What material is it?
Stainless steel, matched to the finish of the TrueFlame vent hood and duct cover so the trim does not stand out against them.
Does it come with the duct cover?
No, it is ordered separately. Duct covers, fillers and spacer brackets are each listed as their own item, so you buy only the pieces your wall and ceiling actually call for.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
