RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. How much air does the RVH36A move?
1,000 CFM from a single high-output blower, with adjustable fan speed so you can run it lower for a quiet cook and open it up when the grill is smoking.
What are the hood's dimensions?
36" wide by 30" deep by 18" high. The 30" depth is what lets it sit over a grill and still catch exhaust rolling forward off the hood.
What size duct does it need?
A 10" duct collar is included with the hood. The duct pipe itself is not part of the package, so the run from the collar up through the structure is a separate purchase.
Does it come with filters?
Yes, eight vent filters are included. They are what capture grease before it reaches the blower and the duct run.
Is there lighting under the hood?
Dual interior lights are built in, aimed at the cook surface below.
What electrical supply does it need?
115V, 15 amp. Plan that circuit into the island or overhead structure before the hood goes up.
What is it made from?
304 stainless steel, which is the grade specified for outdoor exposure on this hood.
What size grill does this hood suit?
It is sized to pair with a 36" built-in grill. If you are matching a grill to it, the 36" built-in grills collection is the right width band.
Do I need a spacer with it?
A spacer is used to set the hood at the right height above the cooking surface for your structure. The 8" vent hood spacer for the RVH36A is one of the matched options.
How do I finish the duct where it leaves the hood?
With a duct cover, which encloses the exposed pipe above the hood. The RVH36ADC duct cover is the one made for this model.
