RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. Which vent hood is the RVH48BSP4 made for?
The RCS 48" vent hood, model RVH48B, and only that model. The fit is dimensioned to the RVH48B rather than being adjustable.
Will it work on an older RVH48 hood?
No. This spacer does not fit older RVH48 vent hood models, so read the model plate on your existing hood before ordering.
How much depth does it add, and why would I need it?
4 inches. That is enough to bring the hood clear of a backsplash, tile or masonry finish that would otherwise sit in the way of a flush wall mount.
Without the clearance, the hood body has to fight the wall finish, and the install ends up looking improvised.
Where in the assembly does it go?
Between the wall and the vent hood. It is a structural spacer, not a trim piece, so the hood ends up mounted to it.
Is the 4" or the 8" the right one for my build?
Measure how far your wall finish projects past the framing. The 8" spacer for the RVH48B is the choice when 4 inches will not clear it.
What is it built from?
304 stainless steel, matched to the hood so the two weather the same way outdoors.
Does the added depth hurt ventilation?
