RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. Its cast-iron base plate heats quickly and spreads heat evenly to reduce hot spots, while the 304 stainless steel cooking surface makes short work of pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, burgers and more.
The griddle sits in the grate area of compatible RCS grills and features a removable grease tray for easy cleanup. Cooking surface measures 14-1/8" wide x 12-3/4" deep, with an overall footprint of 14 1/4" wide x 17 3/4" deep.

How much cooking area do you actually get?
The cooking surface measures 14-1/8" wide by 12-3/4" deep. That is a defined flat-top zone, not a full-width replacement for your grates, so you can keep grilling on the rest of the grate area at the same time.
How much of the grate does it cover?
The overall footprint is 14-1/4" wide by 17-3/4" deep. The extra depth beyond the cooking surface is structure and grease handling, so measure the 17-3/4" figure against your grate area, not the 12-3/4" cooking depth.
What is the cooking surface made of?
The surface you cook on is 304 stainless steel, and it sits over a cast-iron base plate. Stainless on top gives you a smooth face for eggs and pancakes; the cast iron underneath does the heat work.
Why does it use a cast-iron plate under the stainless top?
Cast iron heats quickly and spreads heat across the plate, which cuts down the hot spots you get cooking directly over burners. On a griddle that matters more than on grates, because food sits still on the surface instead of being moved around.
Where does the grease go?
The griddle has a removable grease tray. You pull the tray to empty it rather than tipping the whole plate off the grill.
What is the difference between the RSSG3 and the RSSG4?
Fit is the main difference. The RSSG3 is the version for the RCG32, RJC26A, RJC32A/L and RJC40A/L, while the RSSG4 is built for the RON-series grills.
The RSSG4 is also deeper: 14-5/8" of cooking depth against 12-3/4" here, with the same 14-1/8" width. Both use the cast-iron base and 304 stainless surface.
