Alfresco Vinyl Cover for 30" Cart Griddle AGV-30GTC
The AGV-30GTC covers Alfresco's 30-inch dual-zone griddle mounted on the XE-30GTC cart, spanning both the griddle and the cart body. A freestanding griddle is fully exposed on every side, and the flat plate itself is the part that suffers most from standing water: spotting, surface corrosion, and lost seasoning all follow from leaving it uncovered.
Water-resistant high-density canvas vinyl sheds rain, pollen, dust, and dirt, with an embroidered Alfresco logo. Ventilation releases condensation instead of trapping it against the plate, and secure fastenings keep the cover on in wind.

Which Alfresco griddle is the AGV-30GTC cut for?
It fits Alfresco's 30-inch dual-zone griddle mounted on the XE-30GTC cart. The cut spans the griddle and the cart body as one shape, so check that your griddle is the cart version before ordering.
Does it cover the cart, or only the griddle on top?
Both. The cover drops over the griddle and continues down across the cart body beneath it. A freestanding griddle sits exposed on every side, which is why this cover is cut to take in the whole unit rather than the cooking section alone.
Why does a griddle plate need covering more than a grill does?
Standing water is the problem. Left uncovered, the flat plate collects water that leads to spotting, surface corrosion, and lost seasoning. The vinyl sheds rain, pollen, dust, and dirt before any of that reaches the cooking surface.
Is the cover vented?
Yes. Ventilation releases condensation instead of trapping it against the plate, which matters on a griddle because the entire cooking surface is flat and holds whatever settles on it.
Will it stay on when the wind picks up?
The cover fastens down to the cart. Because it sits over a freestanding unit rather than tucking against an island, those fastenings are the only thing keeping it in place.
Will it fit a built-in griddle?
No. It is cut to cover the griddle plus the cart body. For a built-in installation, use the AGV-30GT.
Can I use it on a 30-inch cart grill?
No. Grills and griddles have different profiles. For a 30-inch grill on a cart, use the AGV-30C, or the AGV-30CSB if the cart has a side burner.
Should I cover the griddle after every cook?
Let the plate cool fully first, then cover it. Covering a hot griddle traps steam against the surface, which defeats the purpose.
