RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. RCS Cutlass Elite Double Side Burner CDB1EL

Each burner is fitted with brass burner heads for even, long-lasting heat, and push-and-turn ignition knobs light the flame reliably every time. How much heat do the two burners put out?
12,000 BTUs each, 24,000 BTUs total, and each one is controlled on its own knob. That is enough to hold a stockpot at a boil on one side while a sauce simmers on the other.
What cutout does the CDB1EL need?
Roughly 12" wide by 19" deep by 8" high. It is built for a raised, drop-in installation, so the burner sits proud of the counter rather than flush with it.
What are the overall dimensions and weight?
13 7/8" wide, 24 1/8" deep, 11" high, and 38 lbs. The depth is worth checking against your island's counter depth before you commit to a location beside the grill.
What are the burner heads made of?
Brass. Brass heads are used here for even heat and longevity in an outdoor setting; the body around them is 304 stainless steel.
Does a lid come with it?
Yes, a stainless steel lid is included. Closed, it keeps weather off the burners and gives you a bit of extra flat counter space beside the grill.
How do the burners light?
Push-and-turn ignition knobs, one per burner. There is no separate igniter button to hunt for.
Is it available in propane?
Yes. The CDB1EL is offered in both natural gas and propane, so it can be matched to whatever fuel feeds the rest of the island.
What is the LED lighting on the control panel?
A color-changing LED control panel, and the transformer that runs it is included with the burner.
Do I need a liner if the island is wood framed?
A combustible cabinet installation calls for an insulating liner, and the liner jacket listed for the RDB1EL and CDB1EL is the part sized for this burner.
How is this different from the Cutlass Pro double side burner?
Both put out 24,000 BTUs from two 12,000 BTU brass burners in 304 stainless and take a 12" x 19" x 8" cutout. The Elite carries a color-changing LED control panel; the Cutlass Pro RDB1EL uses blue LED lighting.
