RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. How much heat does the RSB1 produce?
One 12,000 BTU burner, which is also the unit's total output.
That suits sauces, a pot of vegetables or a side dish going while the grill is working. It is not sized for bringing a full stockpot to a hard boil.
What cutout does this side burner need?
8 1/4" wide by 15 1/2" deep.
The narrow width is the appeal here: it fits into island space that a power burner cutout would not leave room for.
How much counter space does it take up?

No. The RSB1 is specified by its cutout, so it is a drop-in unit for an island or cabinet opening rather than a portable burner.
Should I get this or a power burner?
Choose the RSB1 when you want a second cooking spot beside the grill in a small footprint. Choose a power burner when a stockpot or wok is the point: the Cutlass Pro RSB3A makes 60,000 BTUs against this burner's 12,000, and needs a much larger opening.
