The Sunstone® Designer Series, Raised Style 15 in.Width by 23 in.Height Left and Right Swing Single Door Storage Pantry with inside Shelf provides a dry storage space inside island structure to store away oversized grill tools, BBQ accessories, sealed dry goods and other spices. On back left side of component box is a removable panel allowing utility access for use with Stereo Components and or DVD player. This Single Door Dry Storage Pantry is specially designed to be the same consistent 23 in.height as all other Designer Series components – which provide a true designer friendly appeal. The component is raised off the finish wall 1-1/2 inches so to work with most any island structure including Veneer Stone, Stucco and as extra 4 inch deep inside flange to work with all Masonry Stone types. In Addition the frame is designed with an additional 1/16 inch frame around all four sides of component, plus adjustable Self-Leveling Legs in back. Which make all components multi-configurable Vertically & Horizontally, and are styled to match with Sunstone® Cabinet Island products, with both Cabinet Island and individual Designer Component combinations.

How far into the island does the DE-DVP15 reach?
The box is 23 inches deep, with a cutout of 13-1/2 inches wide by 21 inches high and a 15 inch wide by 23 inch high face.
Check that depth against your island framing before you order — this is a full storage box, not a door.
What is the utility access port for?
A removable panel on the back left side opens the box up for stereo components or a DVD player.
It lets you put electronics inside a weather-protected cabinet and still run cables into the island cavity.
Why does it have self-leveling legs?
Adjustable peg legs at the back take up any unevenness in the island floor so the face sits square in the opening.
Is the inside actually dry?
Yes, it is a dry storage pantry — a closed box inside the island for oversized grill tools, BBQ accessories, sealed dry goods and spices.

How does it compare with the plain 15 inch door?
Same 13-1/2 by 21 inch cutout and same 15 by 23 inch face, but the DE-DV15 door with shelf is only 5 inches deep and opens into your island; this one brings its own 23 inch pantry box.
You can swap between them late in a build because the opening does not change.
What materials are used where?
16 gauge 304 stainless for the frame, 18 gauge 304 for the door panel, a solid 304 stainless rod handle, and 18 gauge galvanized steel for the back box.
Which way does the door swing, and how wide does it open?
