What cutout does each BA-DH size need?
The BA-DH1420 needs a 21 inch wide by 15 inch high opening. The BA-DH1724 needs 25 inches wide by 18 inches high.
How much wall does the frame actually cover?
More than the cutout. The BA-DH1420 measures 23 by 17 inches on the face and the BA-DH1724 measures 27 by 20 inches, both 2.2 inches deep.
Leave that extra frame width clear of corners and adjoining components when you lay out the island face.
Can the swing be reversed?
The doors are reversible and open left or right, so the hand is set during installation rather than at the time of order.
How heavy are they?
11 pounds for the smaller door and 13 pounds for the larger one.
Light enough to hold in place single-handed while you drive the first fasteners.
What does "interior framed-in" mean here?
The door panel is framed in behind the beveled raised frame, which Sunstone specifies for added door strength and stability.
