What opening does the TF-DV-18-A need?
A 14 3/8" wide by 19 1/2" high cutout. It mounts flush, so the surrounding island face needs to be flat where the flange sits.
Can I set the swing direction myself?
Yes. The hinge is field-reversible for left or right swing, so one part number covers either side of an island.
How far does it project into the island?
1.76" of depth behind the face. Very little of the island cavity is lost, which helps when a valve or line runs near the wall.
