Estate 30" Grill Liner

The Estate 30" Grill Liner (GL-EST30) is what makes it legal and safe to drop the Estate 30" built-in grill into an island framed with combustible material — wood studs, composite cabinetry, or any custom build that is not solid masonry. Designed specifically for the Estate 30" chassis, it supports the installation without changing the finished look of the outdoor kitchen.

Constructed from double-lined #304 stainless steel, the liner creates a thermal barrier between the appliance chassis and the surrounding structure. The double-wall construction is the point: it traps an air gap that does the actual insulating work, rather than simply putting one sheet of steel between the heat and the framing.

On a 30" grill the island is usually tight to begin with, which makes the liner more important rather than less — there is simply less air between the firebox and the framing to absorb heat. The liner keeps that margin from becoming a problem.

Precision-built for a seamless fit, it disappears once the appliance is set, leaving the clean built-in appearance you paid for. Backed by the American Made Grills Gold Standard lifetime warranty on stainless steel construction, workmanship and materials. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the GL-EST30 for?

Installing the Estate 30" built-in grill into an island framed with combustible material. It is designed specifically for the Estate 30" chassis.

Is a liner really necessary on the smallest grill in the line?

On a 30" grill the island is usually tight to begin with, which makes the liner more important rather than less. There is simply less air between the firebox and the framing to absorb heat.

The liner is what keeps that narrow margin from becoming a problem over years of use.

Which island materials count as combustible?

Wood studs, composite cabinetry, or any custom build that is not solid masonry.

What is the liner built from?

Double-lined #304 stainless steel. Two walls with an air gap between them form the thermal barrier between the appliance chassis and the structure.

Does it do anything for the grill itself?

Yes. As well as protecting the cabinetry and framing, it shields the appliance chassis from long-term heat cycling.

Will it spoil the built-in look?

No. It is precision-built for a seamless fit and is covered by the grill once the Estate 30" built-in grill is set.
