RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. Designed to fit RCS EL Series double side burners — including the Cutlass Elite RDB1EL and Cutlass Pro CDB1EL — this liner creates a protective barrier between the burner and surrounding wood, cabinetry, or other combustible framing, helping you meet the clearance requirements for a code-compliant installation.
Built from durable stainless steel with a self-supporting ledge along the sides and back, the jacket adds structural support to your cutout while giving the finished island a clean, professional look. It's engineered for cutout widths from 1" to 16-7/8", cutout heights from 1" to 12-7/8", and cutout depths of 20" or more, with a specific cutout footprint of 14-3/8" wide by 9-1/4" tall by 20-1/4" deep. Overall exterior dimensions measure 17" wide by 10.5" tall by 23" deep, and the jacket weighs 20 lbs.

Which side burners does the LJRDB1 fit?
It is made for RCS EL Series double side burners, specifically the RDB1EL and CDB1EL. Check the model designation stamped on your burner before ordering, since the liner is dimensioned to those units.

When is this liner required?
Whenever the burner drops into an island built from combustible materials such as wood framing or cabinetry. The jacket forms the barrier between the burner body and that framing and helps you meet the clearance requirements for the installation.
What cutout does it need?
The cutout footprint is 14-3/8 in. wide by 9-1/4 in. tall by 20-1/4 in. deep. Your island also has to give at least 20 in. of depth behind the face for the jacket to sit in.
How big is the jacket itself?
Exterior dimensions are 17 in. wide by 10.5 in. tall by 23 in. deep, and it weighs 20 lbs. Those are the numbers to check against the cavity you have framed, not just the face opening.
Does it need separate framing to hold it up?
No. The jacket has a self-supporting ledge along the sides and back, so it carries itself on the cutout and adds structure to the opening rather than needing a shelf built under it.
What is it made from?
Stainless steel, which is what lets it live inside a hot cavity outdoors without corroding out of shape.
Can I add this to an island that is already built?
Yes, provided the existing opening matches the cutout figures above. RCS lists it for both new outdoor kitchen builds and retrofits into an existing island, so the constraint is the opening, not the stage of the project.
