The TrueFlame TF-VH48-3 is a 48-inch wall-mount canopy vent hood built for an outdoor kitchen, supplied with a 2,000 CFM motor and a mounting bracket.
Why 48 inches
As a rule the hood should be at least as wide as the grill opening it sits over, so measure the full span of the cooking equipment first. At 48 inches this canopy suits a large built-in grill, or a grill with a burner alongside it, under a single hood.
Airflow
2,000 CFM. TrueFlame uses the same motor on the 42", 48", 60" and 72" hoods, so stepping up or down in width within that group does not change the airflow rating. The 36-inch TF-VH36-2 is the only model in the range fitted with a 1,000 CFM motor.
Installation
A mounting bracket is included; what you need to confirm is that the wall or chase you are fixing to can support a hood of this size. This listing does not publish canopy depth, height or cutout dimensions — take them from TrueFlame's installation manual. Duct routing, clearances and the electrical connection at the hood must follow that manual and be completed by a licensed professional.
