RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. What opening does the RAD66 need?
Cut an opening 6-1/2" wide by 6-3/8" high. The nominal "6 x 6" in the name is the size class, not the cutout, so work from the actual figures.
How big is the door itself?
Overall it measures 7-5/8" wide by 7-5/8" high by 2" deep. The frame covers about half an inch of finished surface on each side of the opening, and you need 2" of clearance behind the wall for the recessed body.
What is it meant to cover?
It gives access to gas valves, controls and timers built into an island. Those need to stay reachable for service, and this keeps them reachable without leaving a hole in the finished side of your island.
How does it open?
It locks with a Phillips-head screwdriver rather than a handle or latch. That is deliberate on a valve panel, since it stops the door being opened casually, but it does mean keeping a screwdriver on hand.
What is it made from?
304 stainless steel, which is what gives it corrosion resistance in an outdoor island. The recessed face sits back from the surrounding surface for a flush, finished look.
Should I use the 6 x 6 or the 8 x 8?
Size the door to what is behind it. The RAD66 is the compact option at a 6-1/2" by 6-3/8" opening, which suits a single valve or timer.
If you need to get a hand and a wrench in, the RAD88 gives you an 8-5/8" by 8-3/8" opening in the same construction.
