RUBY SERIES by SUNSTONE – 5 Burner grill with Infra-Red Burner & Rotisserie is the Pinnacle of Grills, built with ALL 304-grade stainless steel construction, seamless edging, and eye-catching features. Exclusive ALL 304 SS Fabricated I-Burners with an output of up to 100,000 BTUs and an additional 15,000 BTUs for the extra-wide Rotisserie Back Burner all with integrated independent Flame-Thrower Ignition in ALL burner positions. The cooking grids are Solid 304 Stainless Steel, with Exclusive Variable Rod Spacing on the circular inset grate, for larger items on the left and right sides and smaller items in the middle. The cooking grids are designed for endless upgradability with multiple upgrades possible like the Pizza Stone, Griddle, Charcoal Tray, Deep Fryer, or Sear Pro Grate, even add an extra Warming Rack or up to two Rotisserie Rods at the same time. How many burners does the RUBY5BIR have?
Five main I-Burners with an output of up to 100,000 BTUs, plus an extra-wide infrared rotisserie back burner rated at 15,000 BTUs.
The main burners are exclusive 11-gauge 304 stainless fabricated I-Burners, and every burner position has its own independent Flame-Thrower ignition.
Does the rotisserie come with the grill?
Yes. The rotisserie rod, motor and spikes are included, along with a smoker box for wood chips or briquettes.
That is worth noting against the smaller Ruby grills, where rotisserie hardware is an upgrade rather than standard.
Can it run two rotisserie rods at once?
Yes. The grill supports dual high and low rotisserie rods, so you can turn two loads at different heights at the same time.
What do the LED lights on the control panel do?
They change color with the temperature of the grill. The panel runs from cool blue through white and orange to deep red as heat climbs, at up to 150 degrees a minute.
It is a way to read how close the grill is to ready without leaning over the hood.
What upgrades can I drop into the cooking grid?
A pizza stone, griddle, charcoal tray, deep fryer or Sear Pro grate all fit the grid positions, and you can add an extra warming rack as well.
The grid was designed around multiple upgrade positions, so accessories swap in rather than sitting on top.
Why do the cooking grids have different rod spacing?
The circular inset grate uses variable rod spacing: wider on the left and right sides for larger items, tighter in the middle for smaller ones.
Is it available in natural gas?
Yes, this grill is offered in both propane and natural gas. Check which configuration you are ordering against the fuel supply at your island.
What is it made from?
All 304 stainless steel, including the solid components and the cooking grids, with seamless edging. Sunstone engineers and designs the Ruby series in the USA.
How does it deal with flare-ups and uneven heat?
Two grids handle it. The Spill-Away oil warming grid reduces flare-ups by moving oil off the fire, and the Heat-Riser warming grid evens out heat across the surface.
Can I grill in the evening and in wind?
Extra-bright halogen interior lights cover the first part, and back hood wind guards shield the burners from the rear.
How is it different from the 36-inch Ruby?
This one adds a fifth burner, the infrared rotisserie back burner and the included rotisserie hardware.
The Ruby 36" RUBY4B is the four-burner, 60,000 BTU version and needs a 33 1/2" cutout, which is the practical decision point if your island is already framed.
