American Made Grills Alturi 30" Grill Liner
The Alturi 30" Grill Liner (GL-30) is what makes it safe and code-compliant to install the Alturi 30" built-in grill and the SPG30 into an island framed with combustible material — wood studs, composite cabinetry, or any custom build that is not solid masonry.
Constructed from double-lined #304 stainless steel, the liner creates a thermal barrier between the appliance chassis and the surrounding structure. The double-wall construction is the working part: it traps an air gap that does the insulating, rather than simply putting one sheet of steel between the heat and the framing.
AMG lists GL-30 as a dual-fit liner — it serves the Alturi 30" grill and the SPG30, so check the model on the grill head before ordering rather than assuming by size alone.
Precision-built for a seamless fit, it disappears once the appliance is set, leaving the clean built-in appearance you paid for. Backed by the American Made Grills Gold Standard lifetime warranty on stainless steel liners. Browse the rest of our grill liners to match a liner to every cutout in the island.

American Made Grills Insulating Liner for Alturi 30" Built-In Grill
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this liner fit anything besides the Alturi 30?
Yes — American Made Grills lists the GL-30 as a dual-fit liner covering both the Alturi 30" built-in grill and the SPG30.
Because it is dual-fit, check the model designation on the grill head rather than assuming by cutout size alone.
What does "double-lined" mean here?
The liner has two walls of #304 stainless with an air gap between them, and that trapped air is what does the insulating. A single sheet of steel between the firebox and the framing would just conduct heat through.
Do I need it if the island is solid masonry?
The liner is for islands framed with combustible material — wood studs, composite cabinetry, or any custom build that is not solid masonry. Establish which yours is before you frame the opening.
Which model number should I be looking for?
GL-30, in the American Made Grills Alturi series. It is listed under a 30-inch grill size.
Will it change how the finished island looks?
No. It is precision-built to disappear once the appliance is set, so the built-in appearance is unchanged.
Is the steel suitable for year-round outdoor exposure?
Yes. It is #304 stainless, corrosion-resistant and weather-ready, which matters because the liner is permanently enclosed in the island where you will never inspect it. Pair it with the Alturi 30" built-in grill.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
