How many trash buckets does the CBATC-B hold?
Two. It is a double bucket setup behind a single sliding drawer front, so you can separate waste from recycling without a second cabinet.
What opening does it need?
14.44" wide by 19.37" high, with 19.6" of depth. The depth is the figure to check first, since the drawer and buckets have to clear the full run behind the island face.
Does the drawer close itself?
Yes. It runs on damping slides and is self-closing, which on a trash drawer matters more than most, because it is the one drawer you push shut with a full hand.
Is the black finish over stainless?
The unit is built from 304-grade stainless steel and carries the Black Series finish over it. The stainless underneath is what handles the weather exposure.
Why is the face 16.5" x 22" if the cutout is smaller?
The face overlaps the opening. Frame the island to the 14.44" x 19.37" cutout and the unit covers the cut line when it goes in.
Is the same drawer available in plain stainless?
Yes. The CBATC is the same double-bucket trash drawer without the black finish.
Can I run it alongside a drawer stack in the same island?
It is proportioned for that. The vertical triple drawer CBATD shares the 16.5" x 22" face, so the two sit next to each other as a matched pair.
Their cutouts differ slightly, so measure and cut each opening from the dimensions listed for that specific unit.
