The TrueFlame 8" duct cover filler, model TF-DCF-SP8, is the deepest of the fillers listed for the TF-VH36-2 hood and the TF-VH4274-DC duct cover setup. It is a small stainless part with one job: making the junction between the duct cover and the wall look finished.

Model and Installation Information
The model is TF-DCF-SP8, and the fitment is defined by the hood and duct cover it is trimming, not by the width of the canopy. Check the designation stamped on your hood and the model of the duct cover already specified before you order. No island cutout is involved. The measurement to take is the actual gap at the wall once the duct cover is positioned, and it should be taken on site rather than assumed, because the filler comes in three depths for exactly that reason.
Who This Model Is Best For
Order the 8-inch when the duct cover finishes well proud of the wall, typically because a spacer bracket has pushed the hood out or the wall behind is built out. If the gap is modest, the 4" filler or the half-inch filler will look better than an oversized piece packed into a small space.
