This 8-inch spacer bracket is TrueFlame's deeper stand-off for the 60-inch TF-VH60-3 vent hood. It is a fixed-size stainless steel bracket that mounts between the wall and the canopy, listed for that one hood model, and sold on its own rather than with the hood.

- Model-specific fitment - listed for the TrueFlame 60" outdoor vent hood, model TF-VH60-3. TrueFlame builds a separate bracket for every hood in the TF-VH range, so this one is not interchangeable with the others.
- 8" stand-off - a fixed depth, not an adjustable one. TrueFlame offers this bracket for the TF-VH60-3 in 8" and 4" only, and the figure in the name is the whole difference between them.
- #304 stainless steel - the same weather-resistant, easy-to-clean grade TrueFlame uses for the hood itself, so the bracket weathers at the same rate as the canopy sitting on it.
- Positions the canopy correctly - the bracket sets the hood, and any duct covers stacked above it, out from the mounting surface so the canopy still sits over the appliances below and captures rising smoke and heat.
- Sold separately - a spacer bracket is not packed with the hood. Neither are duct covers, fillers or wye fittings; each is ordered on its own.

The model to match is TF-VH60-3-SP8. Read the designation off your hood's rating label rather than going by width alone, because the TF-VH range has been revised and a bracket bought for an earlier or a different hood will not line up.

This is a wall-mounted part: the bracket goes between the hood and the wall or chase, so what you need to confirm is the depth your finish actually requires and that the structure behind it can carry a 60-inch canopy plus the bracket. If the finish is shallow, the 4-inch bracket keeps the hood tighter to the wall and easier to support.

What hood does this bracket belong to?
The TF-VH60-3. It is model-specific, so it will not stand in for the brackets made for the TF-VH36-2, TF-VH42-3 or TF-VH48-3.
Which spacer size is right for my install?
This is the 8-inch bracket, the longer of the two made for this hood. If your installation needs less spacing, the 4-inch bracket is the same part in the shorter size.
Is the bracket the same thing as a duct cover filler?
No. Fillers close the gap where a duct cover meets the wall, and they are listed for specific hood and duct cover setups. The spacer bracket is a separate accessory ordered on its own.
What do I check before ordering?
Two things: that your hood carries the TF-VH60-3 designation, and that 8 inches is the spacing your installation requires. Getting either wrong means the wrong part.
