The Artisan American Eagle 36" delivers a luxury grilling experience at a realistic price. Made in the USA from 304 stainless steel, it is built around a seamless, welded, double-walled hood that holds heat well and opens easily on a spring-assisted system.

Three stainless steel U-burners each produce 20,000 BTUs, for 60,000 BTUs total spread evenly across the cooking surface. Half-inch ceramic briquettes sit beneath the grates and distribute that heat uniformly, which is what removes the hot spots most grills in this size develop over the burner tubes.

The 9V electronic ignition uses wiring encapsulated in heat-resistant silicone, so startups stay reliable through years of outdoor exposure. Fully adjustable brass valves give genuine low-end control, not just an on-off flame. Stainless cooking grates are durable and easy to clean, and the dual-position warming rack lifts out of the way when you need the full surface.

The control panel is recessed to keep knobs protected from weather, and Artisan's air curtain chimney design keeps the panel cool to the touch even with the lid closed. A built-in hood thermometer gives accurate readings for oven-style roasting.

Available in both fuel types

This grill is stocked as AAEP-36-NG for natural gas and AAEP-36-LP for propane. The two are not interchangeable after purchase without a conversion, so confirm which supply your island runs before ordering. If you are not certain, call us and we will work it out with you.

Planning your install

Allow for the cutout plus clearance, and note that an insulated jacket is required if the grill is going into an island built from any combustible material. That is a safety requirement, not an upgrade. Non-combustible islands built from block, masonry or steel frame do not need one.
