Model AARTP, sold here under SKU ARTP-G, is a stainless steel plate manufactured in the USA. It lifts off as easily as it goes on, so the grates come back the moment you want open-flame cooking again. The model number is AARTP and the fitment rule is simple: it nests on top of any Artisan grill or Artisan side burner. There is no island cutout involved, no bracket to fasten and no gas line to run — the plate sits over the burners that are already there. Before ordering, measure the cooking grate area of your grill, or the top of your side burner, against the plate's 14" by 24" footprint so you know how it will sit. Note that the 4" height already includes the splash guard.

This plate is not the griddle for the Artisan 18" power burner. That burner takes its own dedicated plate, the ARTP-18G griddle, which locks onto the ARTP-18PB rather than nesting. Choose by the equipment you own.

This is the right plate for an Artisan owner who already has a grill or a side burner in place and wants flat-top cooking on it occasionally rather than permanently. Because it nests rather than installs, one 14" x 24" plate can move between an Artisan grill and an Artisan side burner in the same kitchen, and it stores away when you want all your grate space back.
