What are the cutout dimensions for the Sizzler 25?
23 1/4 inches wide, 20 3/4 inches deep and 8 inches high. That is the opening in the island, and it is nearly two inches narrower than the grill itself.
The finished head measures 25.5 inches wide by 25.5 inches deep by 20 inches high, so allow for the overhang when you plan the countertop.
How many burners does the SZR-25 have?
Three stainless steel tube burners at 12,000 BTUs each, for 36,000 BTUs total. Three burners in a 25-inch box gives you narrow zones, which is useful when you are cooking two or three things at different temperatures on a small grill.
How much grilling area do I get?
399.6 square inches on the main grates, and 524.1 square inches in total once the upper rack is counted. Plan the main number for anything you are actively cooking.
How much does it weigh?
95 pounds. That is light enough for two people to set into an island but heavy enough that the framing under the cutout needs to be real, not a shelf.
Does the Sizzler 25 come with a rotisserie?
No. The rotisserie kit is a separate purchase, and this model is not specified with a rear burner behind the grates.
How thick are the cooking grates?
8mm solid stainless steel. Thick rod holds its temperature when cold food hits it, which is where thin grates lose their sear marks.
What is the Easy Clean Briquette System?
It is a briquette layer between the burners and the grates that spreads heat and catches drippings. The clean-up benefit is the reason for the name, but the more useful effect is steadier heat across the surface.

Can I get this in natural gas?
Yes, natural gas and propane are both offered. Choose based on what is already plumbed to the island, since the configuration is set at the time of order.
Is there a freestanding version of this grill?
Yes. The same SZR25 head is sold on a matching stainless cart as the Sizzler 25 freestanding cart grill, which adds propane tank storage, folding shelves and locking casters.
How does the 25 compare with the larger Sizzler grills?
It is the smallest of the three: 3 burners and 36,000 BTUs here, against 4 burners and 48,000 BTUs on the Sizzler 32 and 5 burners and 60,000 BTUs on the Sizzler 40.
