About Our Craftsmanship

What makes a Northwoods grill "artisan-made"?
Every Northwoods grill is hand-built in small batches by our team of metalworkers in the Upper Midwest. We cut, weld, and finish each unit individually rather than on an automated assembly line, which means no two grills are exactly alike and each one is inspected by the person who built it.

What materials do you use?
Our cooking chambers and lids are made from heavy-gauge 304 stainless steel and cold-rolled carbon steel, depending on the model. Grates are food-grade stainless or seasoned cast iron, and all hardware is corrosion-resistant for years of outdoor use.

Where are your grills made?
Every grill is designed, fabricated, and assembled in our Northwoods workshop. We source the majority of our steel and components from North American suppliers.

Ordering & Customization

Can I customize my grill?
Yes. Most models can be customized with your choice of finish, side shelves, grate material, and an optional laser-engraved nameplate. Custom options are selected on each product page before checkout.

How long does a build take?
Standard models typically ship within 5 to 10 business days. Custom and made-to-order builds take 3 to 5 weeks depending on the configuration and current order volume. Estimated build times are shown on each product page.

Do you offer contractor or trade pricing?
We do. Builders, landscapers, and outdoor-living professionals can apply for trade pricing and volume discounts. Contact our trade desk to set up an account.

Shipping & Delivery

How are grills shipped?
Smaller models ship via standard freight carriers. Larger smokers and cart units ship by freight on a pallet with curbside delivery and a liftgate included.

Do you ship outside the United States?
We currently ship within the continental United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, or international inquiries, please contact us for a custom freight quote.

Care, Warranty & Returns

How do I care for my grill?
Keep grates seasoned, store under a fitted cover when not in use, and wipe down stainless surfaces with a non-abrasive cleaner. A care guide is included with every grill.

What warranty do you offer?
All Northwoods grills come with a limited lifetime warranty on welds and the cooking chamber, and a 5-year warranty on hardware and components against defects in materials and workmanship.

What is your return policy?
Standard, non-customized grills may be returned within 30 days in unused condition. Custom and made-to-order builds are non-returnable, though they remain fully covered by our warranty.
